It is a blessing….
to have a graphic designer/web-developer in the family. Our wonderful son Ben, who is in the middle of revising his own web-site, has created the beginnings of a site for his father, called simply:
Brook Moore Guitars.
From spring until late summer, Brook is a shepherd and pasture manager. Making guitars is on hold.

But I know that he longs to be back in the shop….

And yesterday Brook breathed a sigh of relief, and returned to the guitars. My woolroom is in the shop building too, and so I often go in to see Brook for one thing or another. I am always amazed at the change in the feeling of the shop from its summer tools-and-equipment function to a place where guitars are created; it feels like a temple to me…I love seeing Brook so happy, and living his dream.

After days and days of upper-90 temperatures, I thought that Tina had a great idea….think cool.
So yesterday, I searched for just the right photo to show my notion of winter…I could almost feel the brisk cold air:
Today we woke up to rain showers and the high temperature has been only 73º…a joy to us all! I know that my tomatoes, peppers and eggplants would like the temperatures to remain seasonal, but I am ready for FALL!
Maybe not winter just yet though
