About our farm
Stonehaven Farm is located in Eastern Oregon at the foot of the majestic Wallowa Mountains. Even though we live in the middle of high desert, our valley is lush and green, irrigated by snow-melt from the mountains. We intensively graze our sheep and our draft horses from late spring to early fall, and during the winter season, we feed them all with hay cut from our hayfields.
Our flock has gradually grown to 70 adult ewes and 10 rams…and of course, lots of lambs in the spring. Being surrounded by this many Shetlands is a joy beyond description! We can’t imagine our lives without them.
